Charles Ponzi Scheme, How Cool Would it be to Have a Bobblehead!

We have been throwing around an idea around the office of having Rick Lynn create a Charles Ponzi Bobblehead, you know the man who made the pyramid scheme famous.  With everything going on with Madoff, we thought it was a perfect fit. Rick would of course make a limited edition of 100 pieces.  Hand signed and numbered.

Here is the sketch we are working on…

Ponzi is holding a pyramid on a silver platter, of course, representing the Pyramid Scheme.  Has a ball and chains around his ankles.  He would be 7.5″ tall.

Wanted to get your guys’ thoughts.  Good idea, bad idea?  Changes to the design?  Your input is always appreciated.

Looking to Sell Your Bobbleheads???

Here at The Bobblehead, we allow anyone to buy/sell their favorite Bobbleheads.  Look at us as the eBay of selling Bobbleheads.  How does it work you say?  Really, really simple.

1.) Send us an image, selling preferences (how the item will be shipping, how you would like to be paid, etc…) and description of the Bobblehead you are looking to sell.

2.) Name the price you would like us to sell the Bobblehead for.

3.) We will add the Bobblehead to our auction site so that everyone in the world can see and buy your Bobblehead.

4.) After the Bobblehead sells, you will be sent the shipping information on where to send your Bobblehead.

5.) What are the seller fees?  The price is based on the amount the item is selling for.  I assure you, the fees will be less than eBay.  For full seller fees, please go to http://www.thebobblehead.com or contact us through the blog or at sales@thebobblehead.com.

6.) How are you paid?  The Bobblehead will receive all funds from the buyer.  Once the item has been sold, half of the total amount of the sale will be sent to the seller, minus the selling fees.  Once the item is received by the buyer in good condition and exactly as the description was stated, the remaining amount will be paid to the seller.  Seller can choose to be paid by check or PayPal.

What is the benefit for you the seller to sell with The Bobblehead?

1.) Concentrate your selling efforts into consumers already interested in Bobbleheads

2.) Save money on selling fees as oppose to eBay.

3.) Better communication.  Work with a company that has real people you can talk to and is located right in the heart of America (Kansas City, MO).

4.) Better promotion on your item.  Gain access to all of The Bobblehead’s client base.  We will include your item in our bi-weekly newsletters to promote it.  We can even do a Press Release for a small minimal cost of only $5.  See if eBay will do that for you?

5.) What if your item doesn’t sell?  Don’t worry about it, you are not charged anything.  We’ll keep your item on the site for as long as you would like.  No additional cost.  What if your item doesn’t sell on eBay?  You bet you’re getting charged!

In this economy everyone is looking for a way to make an extra buck or 2.  If you are interested in selling your Bobbleheads, give us a shot.  What do you have to lose?

Sarah Palin NRA Bobblehead

This is kind of a new idea for us, mixing in a gun with a Bobblehead.  Governor Sarah Palin has been a great seller, but I think Rick Lynn’s idea for this Bobblehead is ingenious.  The detail that goes into the gun is amazing.  The gun depicted is a M16A1 rifle.  Of course, Rick only made 100 of them.  So collectors are really going to want one of these.

The NRA supporters should be all over this one.  I know I would be.  Just looking at the Bobblehead stands for everything a Republican would want.  Right?

If anyone has any comments on new Bobbleheads we should do, let us know at sales@thebobblehead.com.

The Beginning of the Blog

Welcome to the Bobblehead LLC’s blog! We at The Bobblehead thought that a blog might be the perfect way to connect with our customers and start to get the word out about what we do. When it comes down to it, nothing makes our day like being told we have a really cool looking bobblehead or that we nailed their custom bobblehead. Its why we do what we do. We love bobbleheads!

Plus, we think that this would be a perfect way to get ideas from creative people, stuff they’d love to see us make. We’re always looking for a good idea and we appreciate any input.

We thank you for your interest!
